Sacheen is originally from Minnesota where she earned a Bachelor of Fine Arts degree in Dance at the University of Minnesota Twin Cities. Her professional performing career moved her from Minnesota to Nashville, Tennessee and eventually to the Los Angeles area. After retiring from performing, Sacheen worked for five years at a real estate investment company in West Los Angeles with investments in commercial real estate across four states.
Sacheen relocated to Ventura County in 2007 and began working on the administrative side of the performing arts world. She was box office manager and eventually general manager for the non-profit Rubicon Theatre Company in Ventura, California where she was involved in strategic planning and facilities management, as well as daily operations.
Having contemplated a career change into the legal field for some time, Sacheen entered the paralegal certificate program through the University of California Santa Barbara, completing the program in 2011 with a 4.0 GPA. Feeling a special affinity for the field of estate planning, she joined Ben Schuck & Katherine Becker, LLP in October, 2013. Sacheen enjoys working with estate planning, trust administration and conservatorship clients, as well as assisting with small business incorporation. She is a notary public, and an active member of the Ventura County Paralegal Association and the Women Lawyers of Ventura County. Sacheen lives in Oxnard with her husband and daughter.
